Curry Sunday

Today we are having family and friends around for a curry fest where my wife has made a variety of curries to suit all tastes. Pudding is also being served, so hopefully everyone will have a good gastronomic experience all washed down with whatever tipple takes their fancy.

My son outside our old RAF hiring at 7 Marcus Hill, Newquay, 50 years later whilst on holiday recently. Must admit, it does not look a lot different from what I remember in 1971.

Holiday Photo Scans

1998 downtown Kowloon shops, I think the shop signs appealed to my sense of humour.

Friday Nights

Dominos night at the local pub is the highlight of my week, enjoyable fun with family and friends and a good dose of banter to add to the fun.

August Bank Holiday

This weekend, I would normally have been spending my time at the Bruntingthorpe Cold War Jets event, most likely doing ground crew duties.

Unfortunately with Covid-19 and with no access to the runway due to airfield car parking, it means that what was a special occasion is now consigned to history.

There is a planned Museum in the pipeline and work has already started, so till this venture is complete, visits will be few and far between.
